Philadelphia Cheesesteak Sandwich

1/2 lb Top Beef Round, Thinly Sliced
3 tbsp Safflower Oil
1/4 Each Onion – Yellow, Large Dice
1 ea Amoroso Hoagie Roll
1/4 cup Cheese Whiz

For the authentic Philly Cheesesteak, start with extremely thin sliced top round beef, with nearly all fat removed. Preheat a large sauté pan on medium high heat until whisps of smoke form. Add half the Safflower oil and the onions. Sweat the onions until they start to turn golden brown. Take the onions out of the pan and hold. Add the other half of the safflower oil and the meat. Chop the meat with a wooed spoon or spatula until it is well broken up and cooked through, but not dried out. Warm the hoagie roll in an oven, but don’t toast. Heat the Cheese Whiz in the microwave slightly to make it easy to spread. Spread the Cheese Whiz on the insides of the bun and top with the meat then the onions. If you like, top with more Cheese Whiz. Eat while hot with your favorite side items.
