Team from Harveys wins Server Race during Arts Festival

A team of servers from Harveys Restaurant in Starkville claimed first place in the Server Race conducted last weekend during the Cotton District Arts Festival.

This was the third year in a row that Harveys has prevailed over the competition with a race time of two minutes and 40 seconds.

Team members were required to navigate an obstacle course while carrying glasses of water on a tray in the least amount of time.

Special thanks to Maroon and White Magazine, Starkville Restaurant Association and Greater Starkville Development Partnership-Convention and Visitors Bureau for sponsoring the Server Race.

Winners in the Taste of Starkville competition included:
Best on the Grill - the Veranda for Ribs.
Best Presentation - Up Your Alley for Tamale Pie.
Most Likely for Seconds - Dave's Dark Horse tavern for Pizza.
Tastes As Good As It Looks - Harveys for Beef Kabobs.
Best On A Hot Day - Bop's for Katie's Krunch.
Festival Best - Oktoc Grill.
